We inspect all items before leaving our store for shipping. Although we can't catch everything, we do guarantee that you will like what you have purchased by offering a 30 day Return and Exchange policy.
Please inform us in writing within 30 days of purchase if you intend to return/exchange a product.
- State the reason for the return/exchange. Return freight is the customer’s responsibility.
- We will not accept C.O.D. deliveries; returns are to be sent properly insured and prepaid.
- Return item must be in its original packing unused and sellable condition or refund will be denied.
- When items returned are accepted we will then issue a credit to your card less shipping.
- FINAL SALE: All items marked as "special" or that are purchased at a sale/discounted price cannot be returned or exchanged for credit, or refunds.
- Please allow 10 days from the date in which your package is received into our office for a refund to be processed. As well as 1-2 billing cycles for the credit to appear on your statement depending on your Financial Institution/Credit Card Company. Please allow 20 days for International and APO/FPO addresses. As well as 1-2 billing cycles for the credit to appear on your statement depending on your Financial Institution/Credit Card Company.

How To Return An Item
Returns and exchanges will be handled promptly... most returns and exchanges are completed within one week, but please allow up to 4 weeks from when you send the package to receive your credit or exchange.
In the event of a return, we will credit your original method of payment.
In the event of an exchange, please note that you are responsible for any costs incurred in shipping to and from USS Bowfin Gift Shop.
If you live outside the United States and wish to exchange an item, you will be responsible for both shipping and handling charges (to and from USS Bowfin Gift Shop). If we sent you the incorrect item, we will pay for both shipping costs -- regardless of where you live.
Just follow these simple instructions to send back a return or exchange:
- Obtain return authorization number by requesting a RA number. Either by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling us at 808-423-1341 extension 228.
- Write a note explaining whether you want an exchange or a return. If it's an exchange, be sure to specify what you want to exchange it for.
- If the item you are exchanging for costs less than the original item, we will refund you the difference.
- Make sure your name, address and contact information is with the return or exchange (or make a copy of your packing list).
- All items must be returned or exchanged in its original packaging, unused and sellable condition.
